To me this is a natural learning situation, so I would pretty much let ‘em go to bed whenever they wanted to.
Now, if they have a little job ... and they’ve got to be there by ten o’clock in the morning ... and they sleep through and don’t go to the job ... then they don’t hold that job ... .
You want to give kids as much freedom as you can in areas that are not vital to their survival.
