Most people have heard of the ‘National Do Not Call Registry’ to prevent tele-marketers from calling them at home.
Well, that same registry allows you to register your cell phone number and, believe it or not ... by registering your cell phone number it protects you from getting text communications as well ... .
At least legally, that’s an official statement, that you do not want any unsolicited e-mail or text messages to come to your phone number, and that’s official. It says it on that site, so by all means, do that.
