I think what a lot of people don’t realize is that they do have a number of skill sets, and it’s not the industry that’s so specific to them; it’s what they do.
If they understand finance, if they understand marketing, if they’re a writer, if they’re a ‘people person’ and can manage people and really motivate them, that’s what’s important to an employer ... .
[And] ... if you have passion for what you do, it’s just going to be that much easier to get out of bed every morning and go to work and really enjoy the task ... .
