I think it’s best if you really love all the schools in your list and maybe have some that are more ‘favorite’ than others, but you should have a list of schools you’d be happy to attend ... .
When making your college list, approximately forty percent of your schools should be reaches, forty percent matches, and twenty percent safeties ... .
Most students I would say should have a list anywhere between eight and twelve schools.
