For the new driver ... an hour to an hour and a half I would say would be the maximum in car session ... two to three times a week over different routes.
There’s really no benefit in having your child drive to school every day; it’s the same route over and over.
The best thing would be to get them out onto varied roads, varied environments ... .
A city, semi urban environment with traffic crossing, stop lights, a block by block arrangement, that’s certainly very beneficial. But getting them out into a rural area or suburban area, that is huge also.
