Tip:  When you’re looking for a financial planner, choose one with the designation “CFP”

I will always advocate that you look for someone that is a Certified Financial Planner; a “CFP”.

People that are CFP’s have taken a two day exam, they have three years of work experience before they can use the designation, and generally it’s regarded as the high water mark in the community.

The CFP really is the thing that you’re looking for.
