Finding a Job

Tip:  A “Linked In” profile can be better than a resume when looking for your next job

If I come to you and give you my resume, then right there your assumption’s probably going to be that I’m a job seeker and that I’m ‘in transition’, and ... there’s something wrong.

But if I give you my Linked In profile in an e-mail or on my business card, there’s none of that negative stigma - this is just a business profile.

And so, in a Linked In profile, I can communicate the same things I can communicate in a resume, but I don’t have that negative stigma attached, which is really powerful.
