I spoke to a couple of people who mentioned these pressure sensors ... in the mini bar on the food tray.
So if you pick up a bottle of soda it will ... compute that and it eventually ends up on your bill, even if you don’t drink it or use it, so you have to be careful of that.
Usually there will be ... a notice or some literature in the room itself that explains all that stuff, but a lot of people don’t pay attention to that. So, everyone knows that the mini bar is expensive; that you can pay eight dollars for a big bottle of water. But you might just want to store something in the mini bar ... .
My colleague recently told me ... he saw in the hotel room literature that he would have been charged eight dollars for just using the mini bar as storage space, so you really have to be careful about the mini bar.
