If you know who is interviewing you ... you can do some research on the Web.
Find out their background, maybe even find their resume or their online profile (and) see what role they have in the company, that is very very helpful to do.
If you can research the company you’re applying to, understand the culture of the company ... it’s competitors ... something about the industry ... you’re in a much stronger position.
And it’s amazing how few candidates really do that.
If the company has a Website ... spend some time on the Website. Try to understand what kind of company it is, and and that will give you a real edge over other candidates.
