Tip:  When making digital prints, match the printer driver settings to the paper in use

The inkjet printers put the ‘digital darkroom’, which is not the ‘digital lightroom’, in our hands.

The important thing that some people don’t realize when they’re first getting into this is that if you’re going to use glossy paper, you really have to set what’s called the ‘printer driver’ ... to ‘glossy’.

If you’re going to use a matte paper, you have to set the printer driver to matte paper, ‘cause if you don’t do that you’re going to get too much or too little ink, and your colors can be off ....
