Work Life Balance

Working

Tip:  Working moms need to manage expectations and set limits

Usually it’s pretty simple things that we can do; be organized, practice good time management, incorporate some stress management, try to become more physically active.

I think that for many of us, we try to imagine what it used to be like and try to get back to that place ... . I myself have had to struggle with taking it from a new perspective, making a new approach, trying little things that I can incorporate.

For example ... do things like take the stairs instead of the elevator. Park a little farther away from the entrance and walk that extra bit ... .

I think it’s really just sort of controlling the time that you have. You can’t put everything into a time schedule every day; I think that’s pretty near impossible with kids. But what you can do is realize that as a parent you’re in control of the time, and set limits.
