Featured Topic: Financial Planners

My wife and I have recently came to the conclusion that we would benefit from the services of a financial planner.

Now, there’s a school of thought that says we should have done this 15 years ago when we first got married, but, hey - we would have totally missed out on buying a lot of really cool stuff.

I spoke with Cheryl Costas, who’s a financial planner herself, and she says that the designation “CFP” is crucial…

I will always advocate that you look for someone that is a Certified Financial Planner; a “CFP”.

People that are CFP’s have taken a two day exam, they have three years of work experience before they can use the designation, and generally it’s regarded as the high water mark in the community.

The CFP really is the thing that you’re looking for.
